In My Mailbox (41)

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by The Story Siren & inspired by Pop Culture Junkie. It is a way to feature the books you purchased, traded, borrowed or received for review each week.

This week I received:

Library:

Like Mandarin by Kirsten Hubbard – I was picking up a book for my daughter when I came across this one. It is a YA contemporary debut set in Wyoming about a girl named Grace who wants to be like a girl named Mandarin. Thought I could sneak it in for the debut author challenge this year.

Bought:

Pyxis by K.C. Neal (kindle ebook $0.99 for a limited time) – Heard about this one on Twitter and it’s getting some pretty good reviews. It seems to be a paranormal mystery book with magic, dreams and romance.

For Review:

The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour – This YA contemporary book is told from a male POV and features music and a road trip. And along with the great cover I was sold! (LibraryThing Early Reviewers / Dutton Juvenile)

E-Books for Review:

New Girl by Paige Harbison – This is a YA contemporary book based on Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca. (NetGalley / HarlequinTeen)

What did you get in your mailbox this week?
