It’s Raining Books: April New Releases

Happy April! March has flown by, and April brings more new books to enjoy. Here are 10 books I have my eye on this month:

Above by Leah Bobet (April 1) – This one sounds like an unusual fantasy/dystopian and I keep hearing that the writing style is very unique. Isn’t the cover striking?

Grave Mercy by R.L. LaFevers (April 3) This looks like my kind of book: historical, romance, and fantasy, and the early reviews are very positive.

Glimmer by Phoebe Kitanidis (April 15) I don’t understand quite what this is about from the summary (amnesia, mystery, happy zombies?) but it looks interesting and like there are some crazy plot twists.

Storm by Brigid Kemmerer (April 24) Looks like a fun paranormal about a group of four brothers who control fire, water, earth, and wind.

The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa (April 24) A dark dystopian vampire book from Julie Kagawa? Can’t wait to dive in to this one.

Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin (April 24) A steampunk dystopian Poe-inspired story that sounds like a good fit for fans of Nevermore.

The Story of Us by Deb Caletti  (April 24) The only contemporary choice for April. Loved Stay by this author, and this sounds like another great relationship story.

Social Suicide by Gemma Halliday (April 24) I have the first book Deadly Cool on my kindle and hope to finish it before the sequel’s release. Looks like a fun mystery series.

Thumped by Megan McCafferty (April 24) This is the second and last book in the Bumped series. Bumped is so funny and original, and I’m curious to see how the series ends.

The Right & The Real by Joelle Anthony  (April 26) This book is about what happens when a cult takes over your life. Looks like a scary and haunting read.

What books are you looking forward to reading this month?
