I was traveling last week and didn’t get a lot of reading done, so I’m looking forward to catching up this week. Also- today is the first day of school for my daughter – wow, summer really flew by!

Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake – The sequel to Anna Dressed in Blood, a YA comedy horror I liked a lot.
Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout – The sequel to Obsidian, a Sci-Fi romance. Looking forward to reading this!
Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride – Kindle edition is on sale now, and I’ve been hearing for ages how funny this book is.

The Absent One by Jussi Adler-Olsen – audiobook from Penguin Audio, book two in the Department Q series.
One Last Thing Before I Go by Jonathan Tropper – audiobook from Penguin Audio. I was just reading a review of this book in EW and it looks pretty good. EW gives it an A- and calls it hilarious.

Slide by Jill Hathaway – kindle edition from the library – A paranormal mystery where the protagonist slides into other people’s minds.

Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy, read by Rupert Degas – The first book in a planned 9-book series. It’s about a crime-fighting skeleton, and it has received excellent reviews from my goodreads friends.
