Other Notable News:

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is going on now! Good luck to all of the participants. I’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines 🙂

Some NaNoWriMo success stories to keep you inspired: Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins, Cinder (and the two sequels) by Marissa Meyer, Crewel by Gennifer Albin, and Losing Faith by Denise Jaden are all NaNoWriMo books!

Goodreads Choice Awards – First round voting has begun. Go forth and vote!

Publisher’s Weekly recently posted their 2012 Best Books list. I guess it’s that time already. Here’s the children’s list– see any of your favorites on there? I really want to read Ask the Passengers by A.S. King.

Book/Movie Adaptations Coming Soon:

Breaking Dawn – Part 2  and Anna Karenina – Both open Nov. 16. I have my tix in hand for BD2.

What’s on tap for you this month?
