Mailbox Monday #25

Mailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Join in to share your book loot and discover some new book blogs. Kathy at BermudaOnion’s Weblog is the host for November, so be sure to say hi and link up!

It’s been a busy week so I’ve mainly been doing my “reading” via audiobook. I managed to see Breaking Dawn 2 this weekend – OMG that twist! The audience was screaming in my theater. This week is Thanksgiving break so it’s a short week at school and I’m looking forward to some family time. Everyone seems to be getting sick though- the flu is going around, ugh. I’ve had a flu shot but I’m still paranoid that I’m getting sick.

I have one giveaway going on now for non-fiction audiobook fans. If you’ve been following the David Petraeus scandal and want to know more about his life be sure to enter this CIA themed giveaway. And check back later in the week for a Cold Days-Dresden Files audiobook giveaway!

Have you all signed up for the book blogger holiday card exchange? I’m doing it and it sounds like a fun and inexpensive way to get in the holiday spirit.

I received several interesting titles this week that I can’t wait to read:

The Farm by Emily McKay – From Berkley Trade for blog tour

Embers in a Dark Frost by Kelly Keaton – From the author via Good Choice Reading Promotions  for a blog tour

Me, Him, Them, and It by Caela Carter – From Bloomsbury via NetGalley

Right of Way by Lauren Barnholdt – From Simon Pulse via Edelweiss

the farm looks really good. i think we’re on this tour too and i am excited to read it. let me us know what you think of embers. the cover interests me but i am still kind of on the fence.

hope you have a good holiday, lucy. relax and eat lots of good food. i hear that keeps the flu away. 🙂
