In a week I’ll be heading to the Big Island of Hawaii for the holidays with my family. As some of you know, I lost my mom 6 months ago and this was a trip she planned to take. I think it will be relaxing and healing for all of us and we are all looking forward to it. I will be around sporadically for the next couple weeks & I hope all of you have the happiest of holidays :)

I picked up some vacation type reads (apparently they are all kissing books) and will most likely have plenty of reading time during my travels.

Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys – From Philomel Books via LibraryThing Early Reviewers

Courting Greta by Ramsey Hootman – From Gallery Books via Edelweiss

Taking Chances by Molly McAdams – From William Morrow Paperbacks via Edelweiss

Book Purchases:

Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Perfect Game by J. Sterling

The Ultimate New Adult Stocking Stuffer: 4 full-length new adult romances by Steph Campbell & Liz Reinhardt.

Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines

Tidal by Emily Snow (set in Hawaii!)

Relatively Famous by Jessica Park (free today)

Gifted from my Book Blogger Holiday Card Exchange partners:

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton – Audible gift from Cynthia at The Things You Can Read. Thanks so much, Cynthia!

Christmas card and MetroCard / bookmark from Danielle at The Readers Commute. She also wrote a sweet note and recommended I read The Adults, and it does look good. Thanks Danielle!

Have a great week!

What an awesome mailbox! I heard a lot about Abbi Glines books but I’m still not sure if it’s for me. I hope you enjoy all of your reads!

Have a wonderful time in Hawaii. I hope it is healing for you.

It looks like you have some great vacation reads. Opal is great, but there is a killer cliffhanger at the end. I’m very intrigued by the Ultimate New Adult Stocking Stuffer book.

Happy holidays and Happy Reading :)

Lots of goodies. I can’t wait to see what you think about The Perfect Game. I’ve been stalking it, but not bit yet.

I hope you and the family have a great time getting away, being together & honoring your mother.

Yay, Kissing Books! Princess Bride, yay!
I read Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys last year and really liked it, so if she’s done something new, I definitely want to read it.
    Have fun in Hawaii.
