E-Books for Review:

That Time I Joined the Circus by J.J. Howard from Scholastic Point – Looks cute- it’s about a girl living in NYC who sets off to find her mom who she last heard was in a traveling circus in Florida.

Premeditated by Josin L. McQuein from Delacorte – This one sounds like an intense thriller! It’s about a girl who’s out for revenge on the boy who hurt her cousin.

Down to You and The Wild Ones by M. Leighton from Berkley – Reading The Wild Ones for an upcoming blog tour.  Both books were self-pubbed success, and now The Wild Ones release is revised with additional content.

Picture Perfect by Alessandra Thomas from InkSlinger PR – A model has a terrible accident, and goes from a size 2 to a size 12 during her recovery. Her body image has tanked and her therapist suggests nude modeling for a drawing class to face her fears, where she meets a guy who makes her feel confident again. I like that this book tackles body image issues, and I’m interested to see how it plays out.

Purchased:

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz – A Printz Honor book I picked up for my daughter and I to read.

Star Crossed by Jennifer Echols – I wish I could read this, the J. Lynn, and the Glines book all at the same time. Decisions, decisions!

Wait for You by J. Lynn

Never Too Far by Abbi Glines

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell (Audiobook) – I’m listening to this now, and it’s an awesome audiobook.

Library & used book purchases:

Mailbox Monday 39

I scored at the thrift store and purchased all 6 books for $5 total. Do you also notice that all the library holds come in at the same time?

Happy reading!

LOL. I love when all my library books come in at the same time. It’s like Christmas and my birthday all rolled up into one. Of course, then I have to decide what to read next, which isn’t always easy. But it’s still fun.

I’ve read Wait for You. It’s good!

  9. Wow, great book week. You’ve got lots of new ones to choose from. Enjoy!
