Mailbox Monday #50

Mailbox Monday buttonMailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Join in to share your book loot and discover some new book blogs. Drop by 4 the Love of Books to link up for May.

I’ve taken a little time off the computer this weekend and now I’m feeling very refreshed. Haven’t read too much this weekend though…gotta take a little break now and then I guess! Hope everyone celebrating Memorial Day weekend is enjoying the time off.

Review Books/E-Books/Audiobooks:

Devoured (paperback) and All Over You (audiobook) by Emily Snow from Simon & Schuster. I liked Tidal by this author so I’m interested in checking these out. And hey look- same cover models as Easy! And the love interest is also named Lucas, what a coincidence.

The Runaway Queen (audiobook) by Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnson from Simon & Schuster Audio. The second installment of the Bane Chronicles.

When You Were Here by Daisy Whitney from InkSlinger PR via Netgalley. I’m a fan of Whitney’s Mockingbird series and so I jumped on the chance to review this one.

Left Drowning by Jessica Park via Netgalley. Did a little happy dance when I got the approval for this one!

Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein via Netgalley. Companion book to Code Name Verity.

Freakboy by Kristin Elizabeth Clark via Netgalley. I think this looks fantastic- it’s a novel in verse that Ellen Hopkins blurbed. Male POV about sexual identity.

Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas via Edelweiss. The premise sounds like it’s inspired by true events – it’s about a girl on Spring Break in Aruba who turns up murdered and her friend is charged with the crime.

Invisible by Marni Bates via Netgalley. An Awkward companion book about Jane. These covers are really cute I think.

Purchased:

He’s Gone by Deb Caletti – This is Caletti’s first book for adults, and it’s about a woman who wakes up to find her husband gone and tries to piece together the mystery of his disappearance.

You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me, Unsticky, and Adorkable by Sarra Manning – These books are new to the US and at a good e-book price. I’ve heard good things about this author, especially You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me.

Tangled by Emma Chase – A new release that’s gotten lots of 4-5’s on goodreads. It’s a male POV, funny, sexy romance.

Let me know what you’re reading in the comments. Have a good week!
