Mailbox Monday #69

Mailbox Monday buttonMailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Join in to share your book loot and discover some new book blogs. Mailbox Monday is on tour, and you can link up at Book Dragon’s Lair this month.

I was so good and did not buy a single book this week! In fact, I donated books so now I have less book piles on the floor- hooray!

New arrivals at Casa Reading Date:

Audiobooks For Review:

Thank you Simon & Schuster Audio, Blackstone Audio and Audiobook Jukebox!

Endless Knight (The Arcana Chronicles book 2) by Kresley Cole – Audiobook read by Emma Galvin

Mrs. Poe by Lynn Cullen – Audiobook read by Eliza Foss – Historical fiction romance about the relationship between Edgar Allan Poe and Frances Osgood.

The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion – Audiobook read by Dan O’Grady – Everyone loves this book! I could use a hilarious, feel-good read in my life.

Stained by Cheryl Rainfield – Audiobook read by Emily Bauer and Kirby Heyborne – I listened to this one for Cybils, and it is a harrowing book, but I liked it!

E-books:

Reality Boy by A.S. King – This was Read Now on Netgalley, and is a book I’ve been dying to read. It’s about a former child reality star with anger issues.

Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover – Free Hopeless novella about Holder’s friend Daniel.

Library:

Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn – I’m reading this for Cybils and I don’t even know how to describe it but it sounds totally unique.

Sex & Violence Carrie Mesrobian – Another Cybils book that I’m eager to read. S&V has a male pov, and sounds really powerful.

What exciting new books did you pick up this week?

    I want MRS. POE. ENJOY!!

I received REALITY BOY at a Hachette Conference on September 7 in New York. That isn’t my genre of choice, so I am giving it to a friend.

All your books look so good. ENJOY!!!

My EMPTY Mailbox Monday post will be up tomorrow. 🙂

So many awesome books! I’ve been wanting to read Mrs. Poe and think I’d enjoy The Rosie Project too. I don’t envy the decision you’re going to have to make on what to read first!

    Have a great reading week!

    Here is my post.

  10. Hi Lucy,

I am not sure that any of your books are going to make it onto my own list this week, however I am really intrigued by a couple of them, so who knows!

‘The Rosie Project’ sounds quite unique and I don’t quite know what to make of ‘Charm & Strange’, but I am really tempted by this storyline.

I shall keep an eye out for reviews you might post of these two, to see what you thought.

Thanks for sharing some unique books that I haven’t come across anywhere else and have a good week,

    Yvonne

Good book haul this week. I want to read Reality Boy, too, but I might just buy it when it comes out so I don’t have the NG pressure. Haha. And I still need to read the Kresley Cole series. I am so behind.
