    1. Lucy says:

Haha yes. I have a good feeling about this line-up so hopefully I’ll do better than last year!

  2. I’m intrigued by the number of reality TV and summer camp YA novels which will be headed our way in 2014. The summer camp ones, especially, look really fun.

    1. Lucy says:

As I was writing this up I was surprised that those topics were running themes! I don’t remember reading a summer camp book before, but agree they do sound fun 🙂

  3. Oooh! Looking forward to some of these! I’m grateful to you for posting about upcoming releases! I’m so out of it! 😉

  4. We have a few in common! Diana wrote our list, but I too am excited to read Open Road Summer, The Art of Lainey, and Something Real. All of the others are your list sound great too, particularly Breakfast Served Anytime, Summer on the Short Bus, and One Man Guy (as a former New Yorker, who doesn’t fall in love with the City?!).

    1. Lucy says:

Yes, so agree about NYC! One Man Guy looks fantastic. Happy debut reading, Sandie!

  5. Candice says:

I love the cover of A Mad Wicked Folly! I’ve seen it a few times before; really must look for it when it comes out! And Open Road Summer does sound really cute. I love a good cute contemporary!

  6. Ellie M. says:

I really want to read The Truth About Alice as well. Hopefully you will get to read them this year! I know my TBR list is still growing everyday lol

  7. BermudaOnion says:

Those are all new to me but several, including Summer on the Short Bus, sound really good!

  8. Great list! I’m so glad that A Mad Wicked Folly comes out soon, I feel like I’ve been waiting for it forever! I also can’t decide if I want to read Summer on the Short Bus. I think it’s one of those ones where I’m going to let other people read it first and then tell me if it’s worth it or not 🙂

    1. Lucy says:

Agreed about A Mad Wicked Folly! I already have it on hold at the library, just waiting for the release date 🙂 Summer on the Short Bus seems to push boundaries and is described as very non-PC – I wonder what the reception will be too. Happy reading!

  9. Tammy Sparks says:

Something Real made my list–there’s something about reality tv… you know it has no nutritional value, and yet you can’t stop eating.

  14. Quinn says:

I’m really excited for Open Road Summer, too! I just love that cover, and it seems like the perfect summer read.

  15. I’m looking forward to reading The Vigilante Poets of Selwyn Academy, too.

  16. I just finished A Mad Wicked Folly and loved it. My review will be posted on Jan 22. There aren’t many YA historical novels, so I was looking forward to this one and it didn’t disappoint.

  17. Open Road Summer definitely sounds so awesome!!

I totally loved A Mad, Wicked Folly. =)
