Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature from The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Spring reading – my favorite TTT! There’s lots to look forward to this Spring, and I’m eager to get reading. Here are ten books on my Spring TBR:
YA:
1. Open Road Summer by Emery Lord – April 15th, Walker Books. Friendship, roadtrips, music, romance, so much to love!
2. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han – April 15th, Simon & Schuster. A girl writes secret love letters to her crushes and never sends them, but someone else does!
3. Pointe by Brandy Colbert – April 10th, Penguin. Pointe features a female ballet dancer named Theo, and is about eating disorders, secrets, and a long lost friend returned from a 4-year abduction. Sounds powerful.
4. Noggin by John Corey Whaley – April 8th, Atheneum. This sounds like a wacky scifi/contemporary hybrid and it’s about a 16-year old boy who gets a new body for his head that’s been frozen for five years. What?!
5. Everything Leads To You by Nina LaCour – May 15th, Dutton Juvenile. LaCour’s latest is set in the LA film industry, and features a lesbian protagonist. Want!
6. What I Thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick – April 15th, Dial Books. Swoony summertime romance? Gimme gimme gimme.
New Adult/Romance:
7. All Lined Up by Cora Carmack – May 13th, William Morrow & Company. This sports romance is the first book in the Rusk University series and should appeal to Friday Night Lights fans. #TexasForever
8. Play by Kylie Scott – April 1st, St. Martin’s Griffin. This is the second book in the Stage Dive series, and features Mal the drummer. I’m ready- hurry up, April.
9. Nowhere But Here by Renee Carlino – May 5th, Atria Books. A Chicago journalist finds love in the wine country. A romance set in Napa Valley? Sold.
10. Breakable by Tammara Webber – May 6th, Penguin Berkley. Easy/Easy prequel from Lucas’ POV. Want so much!
What’s on your Spring TBR?
Breakable and What I Thought Was True – yes!
I read Open Road Summer over the weekend and was very disappointed. 🙁 I think my expectations were too high. But everyone else has seriously loved it.
I also love me some Texas boys, so I’m looking forward to All Lined Up as well.
I forgot that Breakable was even a thing!! I cannot wait to not only read his POV, but to see his side of things from before Easy. AH. Cannot wait.

I can’t wait to read Pointe. It looks like my sort of book. I also want to read lots of other books on your list. I hope you enjoy them 🙂
Jenny Han’s on everybody’s list, mine included. LOL 🙂 And yes to more Cora Carmack and a new series! 🙂 Thanks for sharing such a great list.
Here are my Top Ten Tuesday picks 🙂

To All the Boys and What I Thought Was True are very popular this week! I forgot Pointe though and Open Road Summer. Such a great list!
I pretty much want to read all of your YA list, even though I didn’t include any in my half of our Top Ten. I wanted to include some “lesser known” books too, so I went a different route. I will tell you that NOGGIN is excellent. I read it last week on a business trip and was REALLY impressed.
Open Road Summer sounds really good – I’ve had my eye on that one for sure! Great list!
I’m super excited for the new Nina Lacour too! Great list lady!
Everything Leads To You doesn’t look bad! Enjoy reading this spring.
A lot of these are on my list as well. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Oh! I didn’t realize Huntley Fitzpatrick had a new one coming out! What I Thought Was True looks great! 🙂
We have lots of the same YA must reads! I finished Noggin and it’s great. I really hope to get to Jenny Han, Pointe, and Open Road Summer, too.
Open Road Summer was so cute! And I’m eagerly awaiting Nina LaCour’s next book as well! This is also the second time I’ve seen Pointe on a list today so I’m really gonna have to look more into that one.
My TTT is here.
Noggin looks like a great read and I’m looking forward to that. I just found out about Everything Leads to You in Molly of Wrapped Up In Books Top Ten post and think it sounds really promising!
Great list! I’ve read a few of these (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Open Road Summer) and loved them! I am especially excited for Pointe and Cara Carmack’s new one, somehow I keep forgetting about Cara’s new book!
Great list! Jenny Han is in my spring TBR pile as well.
I feel so out of it – all of those titles are new to me.
New follower, hi! Love the cover of Everything Leads To You! Very eye catching.

There’s so many new releases to look forward to this spring. I’ve been dying for another Huntley Fitzpatrick book since I read My Life Next Door. I’m also super excited for Breakable–more Lucas *swoons*!
Woah, look at all those pretty covers! I’m also really excited for To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. And Noggin sounds hilarious! XD
That is such a good list! To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and What I Thought Was True are SO good! Open Road Summer looks like my kind of book!
