Mailbox Monday (103)

Mailbox Monday buttonMailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Link up and find new mailboxes to stalk at the Mailbox Monday blog! I’m kind of glad June is on its way out, and looking forward to more fun in July! Reading-wise it’s looking good so far.

Here’s this week’s mail haul:

Bittersweet by Miranda Beverly-Whittemore – Sounds like the perfect summer thriller.

Like No Other by Una LaMarche – A multicultural romance about two people who meet when they are stuck in an elevator during a hurricane.

Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley – Set in 1959 Virginia, this book is about school desegregation and sexual orientation.

Ollie and the Science of Treasure Hunting by Erin Dionne – This MG book is set in summer camp and involves a search for buries treasure.

How to Tell Toledo from the Night Sky by Lydia Netzer, audiobook read by Joshilyn Jackson – A quirky, mind-bending love story about soul mates, fate and determinism.

And in my digital mailbox:

The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet by Bernie Su and Kate Rorick, audiobook read by Ashley Clements – Based on The Lizzie Bennet diaries YouTube series.

Five Ways to Fall by K.A. Tucker, read by Elizabeth Louise, Deacon Lee – Book 4 in the Ten Tiny Breaths series.

Little Mercies by Heather Gudenkauf – I already read this one and it’s quite a page-turner. It’s about a social worker who gets caught up on the wrong side of the system.

The Fall by Bethany Griffin – A reimagining of Poe’s The Fall of the House of Usher.

Broken Monsters by Lauren Beukes – The author of The Shining Girls is back with another sci-fi thriller.

Great mailbox! I just got the Lizzie Bennett as an audiobook, which I am really excited about! (I really want to watch the series again first, though). And Lauren Beukes’ new book looks as intriguing as her previous one. I really need to read those. Enjoy your new books!
