Mailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Link up and find new mailboxes to stalk at the Mailbox Monday blog. It’s the first day of Summer here and no surprise it’s a hot one! We had some Father’s Day fun today seeing Inside Out. Hope your day is a good one!

Here are the books that arrived this week:

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, Audiobook read by Jennifer Ikeda – I’m going to try to listen to this one this week, and if so I’ll run a giveaway for it. I’ve mentioned this book before – it’s a reimagined Beauty and the Beast.

Survive the Night by Danielle Vega – This author wrote last year’s Merciless – a scare-your-pants-off YA. In this story, a group of teens try to “survive the night” at an all-night underground rave.

Under a Painted Sky by Stacey Lee – I’m reading this for book club, which is tomorrow….eek! Luckily the story is really easy to get into- it’s a Western about two girls on the run on the Oregon Trail. They have to disguise themselves as boys to get by.

The Tenderness of Thieves by Donna Freitas – This thriller/summer romance has gotten some mixed reviews… some say the ending is too predictable. But I loved The Survival Kit by this author and want to give this one a shot.

Thanks so much to: Recorded Books and Penguin!

I’m not big on westerns, but under the painted sky sounds good.
