My mailbox runneth over! I need to up my reading game to keep up. Here are the books that made their way to me last week:

This is the Story of You by Beth Kephart – A devastating superstorm separates Mira from her mother and brother and she struggles to cope.

Local Girl Swept Away by Ellen Wittlinger – Lorna is carried out to sea during a storm and her disappearance leaves a mark on her friends.

The Art of Holding On and Letting Go by Kristin Bartley Lenz – Tragedy strikes the life of a competitive mountain climber and now she’s learning to live again.

Mailbox Monday (180)

Unrivaled by Alyson Noël – The first book in the Beautiful Idols series is about Hollywood glamorous teens, where everyone has something to hide.

Summer in the Invisible City by Juliana Romano – Sadie has big plans for her NYC summer but things don’t go as smoothly as she’d hoped.

Summer Days and Summer Nights edited by Stephanie Perkins – Had to pick up the summer collection to go with the winter collection. Such a great author line-up!

Mailbox Monday (180)

Good as Gone by Amy Gentry – The ARC says “A Novel of Suspense” but its final title is Good as Gone. Julie was abducted from her room at age 13, and now 8 years later a woman shows up claiming to be her, but her mother is not so sure.

Mirror in the Sky by Aditi Khorana – This contemporary speculative debut is about characters dealing with the discovery of a mirror planet.

I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh – This psychological thriller sounds so good and twisty I had to choose it as my book of the month selection.

Thank you so much to: Chronicle Books, Merit Press, Elephant Rock Books, Harper Teen, Penguin Random House, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

  8. Hi Lucy,

I already have ‘I Let You Go’ on my own list, so I am looking forward to it getting to the top of my pile.

I also quite like the sound of ‘Good As Gone’, although I’m not too keen on the cover art which supports it. It could have had much more appeal.

I hope that you enjoy all your new finds 🙂
