Waiting on Wednesday: We’ll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating! Want to participate? Post your own WoW entry on your blog, and leave your link at Breaking the Spine.

This week’s selection is WE’LL ALWAYS HAVE SUMMER (Summer #3) by Jenny Han. I chose this book because it is the final book of a trilogy that I have enjoyed. Perfect summer reading that is well-written, with an emotional story and complex characters. I am interested to see how this love triangle will resolve!

Description from the publisher:

Belly has only ever been in love with two boys, both with the last name Fisher. And after being with Jeremiah for the last two years, she’s almost positive he is her soul mate. Almost. Conrad has not gotten over the mistake he made when he let Belly go even as Jeremiah has always known that Belly is the girl for him. So when Belly and Jeremiah decide to make things forever, Conrad realizes that it’s now or never–tell Belly he loves her, or lose her for good.

Belly will have to confront her feelings for Jeremiah and Conrad and face a truth she has possibly always known: she will have to break one of their hearts.

WE’LL ALWAYS HAVE SUMMER is due to be published in May 2011 by Simon & Schuster Children’s.

  1. This is one of my favorite memes because I find so many books I never would have discovered on my. This is one I’ve not heard of, yet. Thanks!

  2. Karen says:

I hadn’t heard about this series – sounds intriguing! Although I’ll have to work to overcome the nickname Belly. I am picky about names, heh.
