In May my reading progress was more about quality then quantity, as I only read 8 books. That’s about one book ever 4 days. And, I’m cheating a bit since one of them is a novella. I’ve read 46 books so far this year. The handy Goodreads reading widget tells me I am 5 books / 4 percent ahead of my goal to read 100 books.

My favorite book this month is Divergent by Veronica Roth. I can easily recommend this dystopian to fans of The Hunger Games for the heart-stopping action and excitement. Next week Blood Red Road will be released and that is another compelling book for dystopian fans. Blood Red Road has a strong female protagonist and this action packed book is told with a unique voice.

My Goodreads Progress widget is the bane of my existence! That thing won’t update when I read more. Anyway, I read Between Here and Forever and really liked it, but then again, I love Elizabeth Scott! I’ve gotten allllllllllll my friends to read Divergent…but I still haven’t yet! It’s on my to do list ASAP!
I’ve heard Divergent is quite good! I want to read that, and I still have a few Charlaine Harris ones to read before this new one.. I think I left off at #6..
