Mailbox Monday #63

Mailbox Monday buttonMailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Join in to share your book loot and discover some new book blogs. Mailbox Monday is on tour, and Bob in Beauty in Ruins is handling hosting duties this week.

In my mailbox this week:

Mailbox Monday 63

All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill – Bought this one after seeing a lot of early positive reviews. Time travel books aren’t usually my thing but I’m going to give it a go!

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black – Audiobook received from Hachette Audio. I’m listening to it now, and it’s good and spooky.

Two Lies and a Spy by Kat Carlton – I’m excited to read this since I love YA spy books. Check back tomorrow for a giveaway.

Digital books for Review or purchase:

Sweet by Erin McCarthy – The sequel to True. Can’t wait to check it out.

Salvage by Alexandra Duncan – This sci-fi book sounds so cool! Girl power, environmental issues, family and rebellion. I hope it’s as awesome as it sounds.

Death Sworn by Leah Cypess – I don’t usually gravitate to high fantasy but this one looks really good. It’s about a girl who tutors assassins in magic, even though she lost her own powers, and the previous tutors didn’t come out of the job alive.

Notable by Marni Bates (Awkward #3) – Chelsea is a Notable who is out of her element and studying abroad. Looks fun!

The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty – Snapped this one up since it’s on sale for kindle. It sounds wonderful, and is about the secrets we keep from those closest to us.

The Last Forever by Deb Caletti – A family tries to heal after suffering a loss. I like Caletti’s books and am eager to read this one.

Before you go, I want to let you know about a couple of audiobook giveaways going on now:

Roald Dahl audiobooks (The BFG, Matilda, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator)- US/Canada ends 9/13

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes audiobook – US/Canada ends 9/16

Have a great week!

I don’t know what I have received since I am out of town, but I did attend a Hachette Book Event and received 9 books. I will report about those books on next week’s Mailbox Monday when I return.

  11. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is so good! What’s the audiobook like? I wonder if it would be a little creepier than the book, even, because sometimes I had to skim over the bloodier details and you can’t exactly do that with audio. And I’d never heard of Death Sworn but it sounds excellent.

Oh, I am so happy to hear you are enjoying The Coldest Girl in Coldtown so far; most of the reviews I have seen so far weren’t super enthusiastic, but the story sounds so original!
