New arrivals at Casa Reading Date:

Mailbox Monday 68 books

For Review:

The Princess in the Opal Mask by Jenny Lindquist – From Running Press for an upcoming blog tour and giveaway. Looks good!

Dare Me by Eric Devine – From Running Press. A group of friends become addicted to thrills with the success of the YouTube videos that chronicle their latest dares.

The Lair by Emily McKay– From Penguin for a blog tour. The sequel to The Farm– a spooky read for this time of year.

Purchased:

Six Impossible Things by Fiona Wood and Girl Defective by Simone Howell – Fishpond order of two books by Australian authors I’ve heard good things about.

All The Truth That’s In Me by Julie Berry – This book sounds intense, and will probably be my next read. It’s about a girl who returns home after disappearing for two years.

E-Books/Audiobooks:

Me Since You by Laura Weiss – Simon & Schuster/Edelweiss. This is about a girl grieving after her father’s suicide.

Above by Isla Morley – Simon & Schuster/Edelweiss. Above is about a teen abducted by a survivalist, and her return to society.

Roomies by Sara Zarr, Tara Altebrando – Little, Brown/NG. Love Sara Zarr’s books and this one is about two freshman college roommates.

Going Rogue by Robin Benway– Walker Childrens/NG. The sequel to Also Known As!

The Summer I Found You by Jolene Perry – Albert Whitman Teen/NG. Pretty cover, huh? Two people going through a tough time cope through it together.

Running Back by Allison Parr – Carina Press/NG. Book two in the New York Leopards series. Rush Me was a fun read and I can’t wait to read the companion book.

A Little Too Much by Lisa Desrochers – William Morrow Impulse/Edelweiss. The sequel too A Little Too Far.

Better Nate Than Ever by Tim Federle – Kindle daily deal purchase. I’ve been eyeing this book so I was excited to see it on super sale yesterday. It’s about a boy who dreams of starring on Broadway.

I Am Malala:Β The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai with Christina Lamb, audiobook narrated by Archie Panjabi – Audible purchase. Incredible story! I bought a copy for my daughter too.

What exciting new books did you pick up this week?
