If you are looking for the 2015 schedule – go here: http://thereadingdate.com/2015/04/12/free-ya-audiobooks-from-sync-2015-listening-schedule/

Attention audiobook fans! May 15th is the kick-off for SYNC Summer 2014! For 12 weeks every summer, SYNC offers 2 FREE YA and Classic audiobook downloads, including a current title paired with a related classic title that may even be on your summer reading list.

This is a wonderful program sponsored by Audiofile Magazine and the audiobook publishers to introduce the joys of listening to the YA audience. I know I’ve said this before, but this program is one of the reasons I’m hooked on audiobooks.

The audiobooks are in MP3 format so they work for both Mac and PC. All you need is Overdrive Media Console to download and your favorite listening device. Each download will be available for 7 days so don’t miss out! After you download the audiobooks though you can listen to them at your leisure.

I recommend you text  syncya to 25827 now so you are all set to receive alerts when the latest titles go live. Read more about the program at SYNC.

  1. Rachel says:

Looks good! I haven’t tried audio books before really, is this in the UK too?

    1. Lucy says:

For the last couple years about a handful of the titles have had international restrictions. Once the Sync schedule is updated with access by country I’ll update this post.

Hope you have a good first experience with audiobooks, Rachel!

  2. I love that they do this every year 🙂

  3. Candice says:

So excited about these! I’ve already marked my calendar for a few!

  4. Tara says:

Woo-hoo! I love Sync! I’ll be in Korea this summer, so I’ll miss many of the books, depending on if my US iPhone will let me download them over WiFi, but I do hope to read Murder at the Vicarage and All Our Yesterdays if I can!
