Gone Girl is based on Gillian Flynn’s 2012 runaway bestseller. The film adaptation stars Ben Affleck, Rosalind Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, and Sela Ward. The trailer hit the Internet today. Let’s take a look:

This is a David Fincher directed film based on a favorite book, and starring Ben Affleck – I’m pretty confident I’ll see this one opening weekend. Look for Gone Girl to hit the big screen October 3. I highly suggest you pick up the book first! I hear Gillian Flynn wrote a whole new ending for the movie- wow!

If I Stay is based on Gayle Forman’s 2009 book, and the  movie trailer debuted on MTV today. If I Stay stars Chloe Moretz, Mireille Enos, and Jamie Blackley. Here’s the trailer:

If I Stay is directed by R.J. Cutler and from what I’ve seen from photos so far the casting looks pretty great. (And the trailer gave me chills) The book If I Stay is one of the first books that got me hooked on YA back in 2009 so I really hope the movie does the book justice.

Look for If I Stay to hit the big screen August 22. Bring tissues! And read the amazing book first to see why you need to bring the tissues.

What do you think of this first footage of Gone Girl and If I Stay? Will you be queuing up opening night?

God, even the trailer for If I Stay had me in tears. Partially that’s because I’m exhausted but mostly it’s because that was such an emotional book! I didn’t realize they were making it into a movie, but I definitely have to go see it now! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I swear, I live under a rock most of the time and only come out to check blogs. 😀

  2. Since I hated the ending of Gone Girl, I am on the edge about the movie. I think I will wait to hear the spoilers on how it ends first.

Wow, until I seen your post, I didn’t know they were turning If I Stay into a movie. Thanks so much, I super excited 🙂

  4. For me, If I Stay was one of those books that I just didn’t love as much as everyone else. I enjoyed it, but maybe I let the hype get to me before I could judge it for myself. I’m still looking forward to the movie, though. I’m hoping it’ll make me click with the story more.

  5. I loved If I Stay so I am looking forward to the film, it looks good!

  7. OOOH! So looking forward to IF I STAY! I’m often hesitant to see movies after I love a book, but I’m very interested to see what they do with the movie. Thanks, as always, for sharing!

Just the trailer for If I Stay had me crying so I cannot wait for the movie! The Gone Girl trailer looks kind of boring to me and I’m not sure why…the book wasn’t so the movie won’t be but, we shall see!

Eek, I hadn’t seen the Gone Girl trailer yet and I love it! Thanks for posting it. I cannot wait to see it. And If I Stay I saw the other day and I went through 3 phases: what is all of this I don’t remember it from the book, oh my god the accident I can’t stop crying, and wow this is all stuff I remember from the book I love this movie! 🙂
