Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Link up and find new mailboxes to stalk at the Mailbox Monday blog. I post my mailbox hauls about twice a month.

Here are some of the books that have made their way to me this month:

mailbox monday stalking jack the ripper beast

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco from Big Honcho Media – This one is a new YA from James Patterson’s new children’s imprint. Looks a deliciously creepy pick for fall reading.

Beast by Brie Spangler from Penguin Random House – This was a cool surprise! This Beauty and the Beast-inspired tale features a transgender Belle.

mailbox monday the opposite of everyone the gift of a lifetime

The Opposite of Everyone by Joshilyn Jackson from HarperCollins  – Coming to paperback in October, this southern fiction tale features a complicated mother-daughter relationship.

The Gift of a Lifetime by Melissa Hill from Macmillan – We are experiencing triple-digit temps right now so I’m ready to cool off with a wintry read! This sounds like such a cute NYC Christmas rom-com.

Digital Mailbox:

A Change of Heart by Sonali Dev from Kensington – I’ve been eagerly anticipating this one! Dev’s latest book is a mystery romance about a man looking for answers after his wife’s untimely death.

When the Moon Was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore  from St. Martin’s Press – Loved this author’s debut and it sounds like we’ve got another winner here. In this magical realism story a transgender boy falls for his best friend.

The Burning World by Isaac Marion from Atria Books – Hey, it’s a sequel to Warm Bodies – I think there’s a re-read or maybe a re-watch in my future.

We Were On a Break by Lindsey Kelk from Harper – Can’t you just hear Ross screaming this to Rachel? In this rom-com, Liv and Adam decide to take a “break” after their holiday/proposal goes awry. Will they find their way back to each other?

Well, that’s it for me! What’s new in your mailbox?
