Hello dear readers and welcome to the 24-Hour Read-a-thon Hour 16 mini challenge: Frightful Reads! This time of night you may need a fright to chase those yawns away. In this mini challenge your task (if you dare!) is to take a photo of a frightful read on your shelf. Scare us all awake with your most frightful reads!

I am a scaredy cat and don’t have a ton of scary reads but here are a few frightful reads from my shelf:

    My frightful read…Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. More thriller than horror, though. But I prefer thrillers; they’re scarier in a lot of ways.
