In My Mailbox (24) week ending July 30

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by The Story Siren & inspired by Pop Culture Junkie. It is a way to feature the books you purchased, traded, borrowed or received for review each week.

I came home with an abundance of books from Comic-Con, which has become a great place for bookish events in addition to the usual pop cultural happenings.

This week I received:

ARC’s and finished books received at Comic-Con:

Crossed by Ally Condie

Dark Inside by Jeyn Roberts

Liar’s Moon by Elizabeth Bunce

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch

Eve by Anna Carey

The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson

Vampire Academy: The Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead, Leigh Dragoon & Emma Vieceli (giveaway here)

Nightfall by Ellen Connor

The Taker by Alma Katsu

Absolute Midnight (Abarat #3) by Clive Barker (giveaway here)

Nightshade paperback by Andrea Cremer (not pictured)

Bought at Comic-Con for signings:

Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer

Supernaturally by Kiersten White

Huntress by Malinda Lo

The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod #1 by Heather Brewer

The Morganville Vampires Vol. 1 by Rachel Caine

Silver Phoenix by Cindy Pon

E-books for Review:

NetGalley:

The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson

A Beautiful Dark by Jocelyn Davies

I really need to schedule my reading to get through this book pile.  If you have read any of these books, which one would you recommend I read first?

Hope your mailboxes were great this week – what did you get? Happy reading!

Is CROSSED in paperback? If so, does the cover similiar in feel compared to MATCHED? Haha I have MATCHED in paperback and I can’t find CROSSED in paperback anywhere! I’m kinda OCD of having all my trilogy to match in cover haha

    1. Lucy says:

No, not yet. Probably around September – that’s when the Matched paperback came out anyway. I like all my covers to match too!
