In My Mailbox (35)

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by The Story Siren & inspired by Pop Culture Junkie. It is a way to feature the books you purchased, traded, borrowed or received for review each week.

I’m still focusing on NetGalley books this month, but a few other books snuck through the door this week:

This week I received:

Won:

The Catastrophic History of You & Me by Jess Rothenberg (LibraryThing Early Reviewers) – Lauren Oliver’s blurb got me excited to read this book.

Bought:

Touch by Jus Accardo (A kindle impulse purchase) The reviews have been pretty good.

Audible Credits:

Anna & the French Kiss and Lola & the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins – Just released on audio format this week. The narrator for Anna is good and she does pretty well with the accents too.

Ebooks for Review:

Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel – (Netgalley) – I’ve had my eye on this steampunk/zombie/futuristic book for awhile.

What did you get in your mailbox this week?

  1. ‘Touch’ was an impulse eBook buy for me as well, haha. I keep hearing these insanely good things about it, so we’ll see. I can’t wait to read it once I get through some more review books.

    Enjoy! =)

I’m looking forward to read Dearly Departed. It sounds so good. Haven’t heard of Touch before, but now I’m intrigued. I’ll look it up soon and who knows, a future Kindle impulse perhaps? Also, I covet your two audio books! I’m still on the fence about audio books, but I don’t know why. You’ve influenced me on other things, you might influence me on this as well.

  10. Nice titles. I was just wondering – are NetGalley books e-books? Sorry to not be in the loop about these things, but I haven’t started making the shift yet from actual books to e-books, so I’m a little out of it.

    1. Lucy says:

Good question. NetGalley books are digital galleys that you can request for review if you are a reviewer, blogger, educator, librarian, bookseller, etc. You can read them on your e-reader, phone, or computer. Go to netgalley.com to register or to find out more. A lot of bloggers love NG!

Too funny – I know what you mean! It would have been best if they just cast someone specifically for St. Clair’s part.
