Deals for Your Kindle – Ten September Specials

Deals for your kindle discounted ebooks

How’s September treating you? With so many new books out this month, maybe you are looking to maximize your book budget with some e-book deals. Here are ten tempting titles that won’t break your wallet:

The Assassin’s Blade and Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas – These are excellent and priced low to coincide with the latest release Heir of Fire. The Assassin’s Blade is the book of prequel novellas. I was listening to the audio, but put it down to listen to Heir of Fire. It’s good though and reads just like one of the novels. This book just came out this year so $2.99 is a great price.  Throne of Glass is the excellent first novel, and it’s just $0.99. Time to catch up!

Skylark by Meagan Spooner –  You maybe know Meagan Spooner from These Broken Stars, but she’s also the author of the Skylark trilogy. And heck yeah for $0.99 I grabbed this one. The final book in this trilogy, Lark Ascending, is out next month!

The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima – The fifth and final book in the Heir Chronicles series, The Sorcerer Heir, is out in October. Start at the beginning and pick up book one for $0.99.

The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas – This is book one of the Elemental trilogy – and book two The Perilous Sea is due out on the 16th.

Wild Awake by Hilary T. Smith – I really liked this one! Here’s what I said in my review: Wild Awake is a wonderfully weird debut novel. It’s a creative mishmash of grief, love, art, drugs and mental illness that is strangely compelling.  This story stands out in the YA landscape takes you on an unforgettable journey.

If You Could Be Mine by Sara Farizan – This book came out last fall, and is a great pick for readers looking for diverse books. It’s set in Iran and is about a girl in love with a girl.

Just One Day by Gayle Forman – I know everyone’s reading If I Stay and Where She Went right now, but this duology is also great! Grab this one for $2.50.

Boomerang by Noelle August – Noelle August is a pen name for author’s Veronica Rossi and Lorin Oberweger and readers are raving about the books rom-com elements.

The Marked Men series by Jay Crownover – You can pick up Rule, Rome and Nash for $1.99 and Jet for $2.99. Everyone loves this NA series! I am tempted to grab all of these.

Dark Places by Gillian Flynn – I think this movie is coming out next year? I couldn’t find a release date, but I think it’s safe to say there is time to read the book before hand! The movie stars Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz, Nicholas Hoult, and I can’t wait to see a trailer or something.

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline – We will be seeing the Dark Places movie before Ready Player One for sure, but I know they are working on a script. This book is so fun and full of pop culture references, and it’s probably the only dystopian book filled with 80s nods.

Angel’s Ink by Jocelynn Drake – Apparently I bought this one the last time it was on sale but haven’t read it yet- whoops! It’s the first book in the urban fantasy Asylum Tales about a tattoo artist whose tattoos include a little magic. Get your kindle inked for $1.99.

So, that was more than ten…happy bargain hunting! Have you found any great ebook deals lately?

I need to read the Gayle Forman novel finally, going to get this on Kindle! 🙂

  2. As a librarian, I feel compelled to point out that the best deal of all is to check out your local public library… books (and e-books and many other things too) for FREE! Yay!

I agree, libraries are awesome. But sadly in my area we only have a small library and it doesn’t stock the latest releases or many YA books (apart from The Hunger Games and Twilight). It also takes about 6 weeks to order anything in! So Kindle books are a godsend for me.
