Waiting On To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

Waiting on WednesdayWaiting on Wednesday is a weekly event brought to you by Breaking the Spine where we spotlight upcoming books we can’t wait to read.

On my wish list this week is a Contemporary YA Romance from Jenny Han due out In Spring 2014.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

Publication Date: April 22, 2014 from Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

Publisher’s Title Summary:

To all the boys I've loved before by jenny han

Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control in this heartfelt novel from the New York Times bestselling author of The Summer I Turned Pretty series.

What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them…all at once?

Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren’t love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she’s written. One for every boy she’s ever loved-five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

Adorable cover, title, and concept from one of my fave YA contemporary authors- what could be better? I’m so curious to find out what happens when all five of Lara Jean’s crushes receive her love notes. I’m glad Han is returning to her romance roots- something I’ve missed since her Summer series ended.

What book(s) are you eagerly anticipating this week?

I love the concept for this one – it makes me wonder how all my crushes would’ve reacted had they known how I felt about them in grade school (It probably would’ve freaked them out, ha ha). Thank you for putting this one on my radar, and thank you for stopping by my list this week! 🙂
