Happy spring! It’s spring break for us so we are doing a little traveling this week. I’ll check in periodically but will mostly be taking a mini break and enjoying sight seeing and family time. This week I received a few books:

fly away sound

Review:

Fly Away by Kristin Hannah – Thank you St. Martin’s Press! Fly Away is a companion book to Firefly Lane, and is new to paperback. I haven’t read Firefly Lane yet, but I hear Fly Away can be read as standalone. Anyone want to chime in about that?

Library:

The Sound of Letting Go by Stasia Ward Kehoe – A new verse novel! I liked Kehoe’s Audition, and this one sounds like another winner. It’s about music, family, and love.

Review E-books:

Playing It Close by Kat Latham – The second book in the London Legends rugby series, and also can be read as standalone.

All Lined Up by Cora Carmack – The first book in Carmack’s Rusk University series, which has a Friday Night Lights flavor to it.

Played by Liz Fichera – It’s the week for Sports Romance! Played is the companion book to last year’s Hooked.

The Chapel Wars by Lindsey Leavitt – A sixteen-year-old receives a Vegas wedding chapel in her Grandpa’s will, and there’s family drama and romance with a guy who works at a rival chapel.

Push by Claire Wallis – This is a New Adult debut about a girl with anger issues and an abusive past who gets involved with a guy whose past girlfriends fell off the face of the earth.
