Mailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Link up and find new mailboxes to stalk at the Mailbox Monday blog! This week we were adjusting to back-to-school, I was sick with a cold, and I sobbed over If I Stay. Hope your week was a good one!
Here’s what’s new in my (all digital) mailbox this week:
e-Audiobooks:
Unteachable by Leah Raeder, read by Grace Grant – I read this New Adult book last year and look forward to an audio re-read, especially since I didn’t review it the first time. It’s about a taboo teacher-student relationship. Thank you Simon & Schuster Audio!
No In Between by Lisa Renee Jones, read by Grace Grant and Jason Carpenter – The last book in the Inside Out series. I heard this series was in development with Starz- haven’t heard any new news about it though. Thank you Simon & Schuster Audio!
Conversion by Katherine Howe, read by Khristine Hvam – Borrowed from the Overdrive e-library. This is a boarding school book about a mysterious illness that takes over the school- sounds kinda like The Fever. It also ties in the Salem Witch Trials, so could be a spooky book for fall.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, read by Sissy Spacek – Borrowed from the Overdrive e-library. My teen is reading this for English this year so I figure it’s a good time to catch up on this classic. Plus, Sissy Spacek!
What’s new in your mailbox?
I listened to To Kill a Mockingbird, but not by the same narrator and it was great! Hope you love this version.
I bet Sissy Spacek is a wonderful narrator of TKAM!
That is cool that you are going to read To Kill a Mockingbird, with your kid. 🙂 I’d say that is as good a excuse as any to read a book! Speaking of which, I have never actually read it… Maybe I should too!
sound all good, enjoy!
I am intrigued by Unteachable….adding it to my list. Thanks for sharing…and enjoy your week! Thanks for visiting my blog…and I did see and LOVE If I Stay, the movie.
I commented on your review.
Oh, I hope you are over your cold by now!
This is a great mailbox. I just added Conversion to my audio shelf, too (just a few hours too late for my mailbox post, haha!). It sounds interesting and I enjoyed Katherine Howe in the past. Happy reading!
Aw I hope you’re all better 🙂
I heard nothing but awesome things about Conversion! Hope you enjoy it.
Nice mixed genres in your mailbox. Enjoy them all.
I read To Kill a Mockingbird for the first time last year and it was a really good read which made it on to my favourites shelf. Have you read it before or is it first time for you too? Enjoy! Here’s my MM.
Love To Kill a Mockingbird – some of my high school friends read it for English and disliked it, so I didn’t read it until a couple of years ago. How wrong were they? I hope listening to it is just as delightful as reading the book!
Looks like you received a nice assortment this week. Enjoy your audios.
I really like the cover to Unteachable and Conversion looks good, too.
Happy reading
I thought I left a comment. Hmmmm.
Here it goes again. 🙂
To Kill a Mockingbird was one of my favorite books. That is great you are re-reading it with your teen.
ENJOY your reading week.
