Top Ten Tuesday Rewind

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish featuring a new top ten list each week. Everyone can participate- head on over to their blog and sign up.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is a little different and the theme is Top Ten Tuesday Rewind. This is a chance for you to pick a top ten topic from the archives that you did not get a chance to do the first time around. Or maybe you just want to redo your list. You can find the list of past topics to choose from here.

I have chosen for my topic: Top 10 Books Iā€™m Dying to Read. In order of publication date, these are the books I can’t wait to get my hands on:

1. Bite Club (Morganville Vampires #10) by Rachel Caine – May 3 2011 – The tenth book and somehow the series still manages to stay fresh.

2. Divergent by Veronica Roth – May 3 2011 – Have heard a lot of good buzz about this new dystopian series.

3. Wolfsbane (Nightshade #2) by Andrea Cremer – July 26 2011 – Curious to see what happens in the follow-up to Nightshade.

4. Bloodlines by Richelle Mead – August 23 2011 – The Vampire Academy spin-off series.

5. Succubus Revealed (Georgina Kincaid #6) by Richelle Mead – August 30 2011 – The final book in the Georgina Kincaid series. This one is for adults- older readers of Vampire Academy should give this series a try.

6. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins – September 29 2011 – The companion book to Anna and the French Kiss. Hope it is just as good.

7. Prized (Birthmarked #2) by Caragh M. O’Brien – November 8 2011 – Follow up to the dystopian Birthmarked. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

8. The Iron Knight (Iron Fey #4) by Julie Kagawa – November 2011 – Excited to read Ash’s story. In the meantime, there is a novella about Puck called Summer’s Crossing that will be out in June.

9. Enshadowed (Nevermore #2) by Kelly Creagh – January 17 2012 – Can’t wait to read the follow-up to Nevermore.

10. Pandemonium (Delirium #2) by Lauren Oliver – February 2012 – Have been dying to read this ever since I finished Delirium.

Well, there’s many more books I’m dying to read but I’ll leave it at that. What books are you dying to read?

Can’t wait to read what topics everyone chose this week. Feel free to leave your links below so I can check out your list.

Yes to 3, 4 and 6! I’m also looking forward to Passion by Lauren Kate and the next Sookie Stackhouse book.

  3. Maggie says:

I still have yet to read Delirium… whenever the library has it in.

  4. Prized looks really good. I am loving this dystopian trend!

  5. Lisa says:

I can’t wait for Wolfsbane. I loved Nightshade and I can’t wait to revisit Calla and Ren.

  6. Amber says:

Yes! I’m dying to read Bloodlines. Is it August yet? šŸ™ I also cannot wait for Wolfsbane, although I’m upset that the covers are changing. I’m slightly OCD like that!
    Divergent is FANTASTIC. Excellent choice!

    Books of Amber

Divergent! Bloodlines! Lola! Ahh, can’t wait… funnily these are 3 books that I am dying to read that I was lucky enough to win pre-orders for. *grabby hands* I can’t wait until they’re mine. [/insane book delirious ramblings]

Now that I’ve been more into paranormals lately I definitely want to try out the ‘Morganville Vampires’ books and Richelle Mead’s adult books.

I’m really looking forward to reading Lola too! Had so much fun reading Anna and the French Kiss and I’m hoping that the next one will be just as good.
