My August Reads

These are the books I’m hoping to read in August. I usually try to be spontaneous with my reading choices, but I thought I’d make a reading list this time around. This month is Dystopian August hosted by Presenting Lenore so I’ve included several dystopian selections. Here are the 10 books:

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Ashes by Ilsa J. Bick

Dark Inside by Jeyn Roberts

Eve by Anna Carey

Legend by Marie Lu

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa

Shattered Souls by Mary Lindsey

Want to Go Private? by Sarah Darer Littman

Chain Reaction by Simone Elkeles

Things could certainly change on this list, but I’ll try to stick to it as much as possible.

Do you like to plan out your reading for the month? What are you most excited to read this month?

Awesome reading list. I’m most looking forward to Daughter of Smoke and Bone for sure. It has amazing reviews!

Plus Legend, Eve, and WTGP sound awesome.

    1. Thanks Reut! There’s so much hype for Daughter of Smoke and Bone – I hope it lives up! I’m not too worried because I’ve liked her previous work, but my expectations are high.
Hope you enjoy all your new reads!

“Legend” and “Shatter Me” sound awesome, hope you enjoy them!
I’m going to be diving into “Ashes”, “Eve”, and “The Iron Knight” (as soon as I finish the rest of the series) later this month.

    Happy reading!

    1. Thanks Nicole! We’ll have to compare notes on the books we have in common. Looking forward to your reviews. Your’e lucky you can read all the Iron Fey books back to back. Enjoy!

Ooh, I want to read “Legend” as well..

Along with Bloodlines, I’m also currently reading The Iron Knight from Netgalley.. not bad so far. Though I haven’t read the previous ones so I’m a BIT lost.. lol..

Ooh, all those sound great! I especially can’t wait for ‘Chain Reaction’!
