It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is my first time participating.
My reading has been slow the past few days. I’m recovering from hosting a big blowout slumber party for my daughter’s birthday and haven’t had too much time to read besides bits of an audio here and there. There are a few books I’m planning to read this week though.
Read last week:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (loved it – review coming as soon as I can pull my thoughts together)
Amplified by Tara Kelly
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
In Progress:
Jessica Rules the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey – audiobook (I’m about 75% done)
Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen – Just starting this one.
To Start:
The Survival Kit by Donna Freitas (library book due soon)
The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne M. Valente (library book due soon)
Cinder by Marissa Meyer – Audio
How did you like Amplified? I thought it was pretty good, but a bit predictable.
And I understand your comment about TFioS- I don’t think I’ll be able to review it because I am having trouble putting my thoughts on the book into words.
Have a good week 🙂
I was pleasantly surprised by Amplified actually and thought it was a very fun read. Yes, I’m also left speechless by TFioS. Now I need to read John Green’s other books!
Thanks for stopping by – have a great week!
Extremely fun reading. I really enjoyed Scarlet. I hope you do too.
Scarlet is terrific so far. Glad you enjoyed it!
I am reading cinder right now and it’s great. Fault in our stars looks awesome. I am looking forward to reading it. And how cute that your daughter had a slumber party. Hope it was lots of fun!
Slumber party was fun, but there was not too much slumber 🙂
Glad you are enjoying Cinder. It sounds great!
I’m glad you are joining in! It’s so exciting to see what others are reading! I loved The Fault In Our Stars. We did the review of the first 2 chapters last week to finish up John Green week but now I feel like I want to review the entire book. I marked so many great quotes. I loved it. I had to reread the ending a few times and just kept making myself cry all over again because it was so beautiful. He is a brilliant man and writer that John Green. 🙂
Yes, I have now joined the cult of John Green and am on a mission to read all his books this year. TFiOS was just too good. I’m going to listen to the John Green narrated audio next and I’m sure I’ll cry all over again.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week! 🙂
The Fault in Our Stars is proving very popular and is on my wishlist
Have a great reading week!

Hope you enjoy TFiOS when you get the chance to read it. It is very worthwhile.
Happy reading!
I know I’m late to this post, but this is a great list! Also, I love the memes that you do. It’s refreshing. I’m back now, so expect a lot of comments. 🙂
