The Jewel by Amy Ewing – Described as “The Handmaid’s Tale meets The Selection” this book is about a girl who becomes a surrogate for the royal family in a future world.

A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray – I am in love with this cover! This is the first book in a new trilogy described as “Every Day meets Cloud Atlas.” This is sci-fi book is about love and alternate universes.

No Place to Fall by Jaye Robin Brown – This YA contemporary debut is about a small-town girl who dreams of singing on bigger stages.

Top Ten Clues You’re Clueless by Liz Czukas – This looks very cute, and is about a list-writing girl who is accused of stealing along with her five co-workers. They get locked in the breakroom and have Breakfast Club style hijinks while they try to clear their names.

These books –When We Wake by Karen Healey and While We Run by Karen Healey — remind me of Mary Pearson’s Fox Chronicles for some reason.
