Mailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Link up and find new mailboxes to stalk at the Mailbox Monday blog! Are you all cried out from seeing TFIOS this weekend, or did you binge on OITNB season 2? Maybe a little of both?
My mailbox was full of audiobook goodness this week!
Awesome Audiobooks:
Landline by Rainbow Rowell, audiobook performed by Rebecca Lowman -This was on my summer audiobook wish list and I’m really enjoying it so far! This is Rowell’s first adult novel since Landline and is about managing relationships, career and family and has a touch of magical realism.
Subway Love by Nora Raleigh Baskin, audiobook performed by Todd Haberkorn and Kate Rudd – This book has an interesting time travel sort of premise- it’s about two teens that live 40 years apart and can connect only on the subway. I’ve already listened (it’s just a little over 4 hours long) so look for a review and giveaway soon!
The Interrogation of Ashala Wolf by Ambelin Kwaymullina, audiobook performed by Candice Moll -This is the first book in an Australian dystopian series about a future world with children who have extraordinary abilities.
The Chance You Won’t Return by Annie Cardi, audiobook performed by Jessica Lauren Ball – Alex has many stresses in her life, and is especially concerned about her mom’s obsession with Amelia Earhart.
Breakable by Tammara Webber, audiobook performed by Zachary Webber – I have listened to this one and it’s fab – look for a giveaway later this month!
Vicious by V.E. Schwab, audiobook performed by Noah Michael Levine – I’ve heard good things about this book, and it seems to be about heroes and villains with super powers.
Pretty in Print:
Tell Me Again How a Crush Should Feel by Sara Farizan -A coming out story centered on a Persian high school girl. She finds out she’s not the only one keeping secrets at school, and manages friend, family and romantic relationships.
I Want It That Way by Ann Aguirre – This is the first book in a contemporary New Adult series- all the books are named after Backstreet Boys songs!
Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas -I’ve heard such good things about this YA mystery, and since the sequel is on its way figured I’d better catch up.
How to Tell Toledo From the Night Sky by Lydia Netzer – This is about two astronomers that fall in love and find out that their relationship was planned from birth by their mothers.
Enchanted with E-Books:

Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas -Book three in the Throne of Glass series – woohoo!
Just Like the Movies by Kelly Fiore – This sounds like a cute read, and it’s about two friends that scheme to set up big romantic gestures right out of a movie.
Transgender Lives: Complex Stories, Complex Voices by Kirstin Cronn-Mills -This book is about the stories of 7 transgender individuals, transgender history, and support and encouragement.
The Vault of Dreamers by Caragh M. O’Brien -First book in a new dystopian series about an art school/reality show.
Thank you to Macmillan Audio, Brilliance Audio, Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill, Ann Aguirre, St. Martin’s Press, Bloomsbury, Walker Books, Lerner, and Roaring Brook Press
What’s new in your mailbox?

I haven’t listened to an audio in a long time. My mind is so busy with work that I get easily distracted and miss half the story.
Okay, I’m just a little bit jealous about Landline. I can’t wait to read your final review of it.
I’m defo keen to see what you think of Ashala Wolf, I really enjoyed it, and I’m glad they’ve used an Aussie narrator 😉
Dangerous Girls has got rave reviews, it’s a book I am v.much looking forward to. Enjoy your stack, hun!

Landline sounds awesome! I’m thinking I need to get into audiobooks when I change work sites as I’ll be driving rather than catching public transport. I love the idea of I Want it That Way – BSB 4eva 🙂
Great haul! Wow, that’s a lot of audiobooks.
I absolutely LOVED Tell Me Again How a Crush Should Feel, and I really hope you like it too! (: (:
I’m interested in reading Vicious too after I was talking about how I’m never very interested in villains but I asked people to rec me stuff with good villains, and someone recommended Vicious to me. And yeah, Dangerous Girls! Lots of my blogger friends love that. I must read it soon.
Happy reading!
Wow, so many audiobooks! I hope they’re all wonderful. I really need to read a book by Rowell.
Enjoy your books.
So much awesome in one mailbox, Lucy! I am really excited for the Aguirre and Farizan books as well, and I’m verrry curious what you’ll think of DANGEROUS GIRLS. Happy reading!

Looks like a great collection of books. I hope you enjoy them and have a great week.
I really enjoyed Landline…hope you do, too. Great stack of books! Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
Very nice mailbox. Lots of audios. I need to give audios a try. I used to listen to books on tape when I drove back and forth to work, but since I retired, I don’t do that any more and can’t seem to sit down long enough to listen to an audio book. 🙂
Looks like you have some good ones. Landline is a book I would like to read.
Have a great reading week.

Landline and Heir of Fire both look really good. Glad you liked Unbreakable. It’s cool that Tammara’s son read the audio. Can’t wait for your review.
