Mailbox Monday is a weekly event where we share our latest book arrivals. Link up and find new mailboxes to stalk at the Mailbox Monday blog!
Here’s what’s in my mailbox this week:
Audiobooks:
Vampires of Manhattan by Melissa de la Cruz – This is a New Adult continuation of the Blue Bloods series. The audio is performed by MacLeod Andrews.
Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty – My library hold came in and I’m so excited to listen to this one. The audio is performed by Caroline Lee, and this book is about relationships and a murder investigation. I just started listening to it today.
Digital review copies:
My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories edited by Stephanie Perkins – Holiday stories + so many favorite authors = awesome!
Alex as Well by Alyssa Brugman – This Australian YA book about an intersex teen got some rave reviews when it first came out, and now it’s new to the US.
Cut Me Free by J.R. Johannsen – This YA thriller sounds a little scary and intense. It’s about a girl who leaves her abusive home life behind but the past is catching up with her.
Fantasy League by Mike Lupica – I read Lupica’s QB1 last year and survived even though I’m so not a sporty type. This is his latest MG football release. It’s described as Moneyball for kids.
Nest by Esther Erlich – This middle grade book is set in 1972 on Cape Cod, and is about a girl named Chirp, family, friendship, and birds.
Thank you to Hachette Audio, St. Martins Press, Henry Holt and Co, Farrar, Straus & Giroux, Wunderkind PR, and Wendy Lamb Books.
What’s new in your mailbox?
The holiday collection looks good. I’m looking forward to listening to Big Little Lies. Have a great week!
I want to get to Big Little Lies soon. My True Love Gave to Me looks so fun!
Enjoy your books! I hope you love Big Little Lies as much as I did. Here’s MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES POST
I have been intrigued by Alex as Well and Cut me Free. Both have very good (and different!) premises!
And I still haven’t read Liane Moriarty – I know this is something I need to fix, just not sure which one to read first. Any recommendation?
Enjoy your new books!
Thanks, Kay! This is only my second Moriarty book, but I really liked The Husband’s Secret. Big Little Lies is starting off well too.
I was all excited when I saw the vampire book you have listed – great cover! But then I saw it was a New Adult book and I’m not really in to them. But I do tend to read anything with vampires in so I might mark it as a maybe. Enjoy!
Liane Moriarty is an author I keep seeing pop up everywhere and I really mean to actually check out some of her books and what they are all about. I hope you enjoy that one, and I’ll be looking out for your review. Happy reading!
I have Big Little Lies and want to read it soon. I’m sure it will be good in audio format too. You can now link up your audiobook reviews on my Listen Up! monthly meme found on the left sidebar of my blog. This way other bloggers can read your audiobook reviews too!
I’ve read positive comments about Big Little Lies. I hope you enjoy it.
Big Little Lies remains on my list of books to find!

Vampires of Manhattan is on my wish list
Other than Big Little Lies, these are all new to me. Enjoy!
2 Kids and Tired Books MM
I have been seeing Big Little Lies a lot lately and have heard good things. Hope you like the audio, Lucy.
Alex as Well is Australian?! I didn’t know that – now I want to read it even more 🙂
The year is going by so quickly. I’m seeing Holiday books already!
Big Little Lies should be good in audio. I have it in paperback. I need to get back to audio. I used to listen on the way to work.
The Holiday Stories looks good.
ENJOY all your books and your reading week.

Is the Blue Blood series good? I read a graphic novel and it intrigued me enough to make me think I want to pick up the book!
Oooh, Big Little Lies. So excited to get this one!
