Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Sequels I’m Dying To Read

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish featuring a new top ten list each week. Everyone can participate- head on over to their blog and sign up.

This week’s topic is Top Ten Sequels I’m Dying to Read. This is one of the easiest topics for me because there are so many sequels I’m anticipating. The problem is narrowing it down to ten.

In order of publication date, these are my top 10 most anticipated sequels:

2. A Million Suns (Across the Universe #2) by Beth Revis (January 10)

3. Enshadowed (Nevermore #2) by Kelly Creagh (January 17)

4. Truth (XVI #2) by Julia Karr (January 19)

5. Hallowed (Unearthly #2) by Cynthia Hand (January 24)

6. Bloodrose (Nightshade #3) by Andrea Cremer (January 24)

7. Fever (The Chemical Garden #2) by Lauren DeStefano (February 24)

8. Pandemonium (Delirium #2) By Lauren Oliver (March 6)

9. Spell Bound (Hex Hall #3) by Rachel Hawkins (March 13)

10. Insurgent (Divergent #2) by Veronica Roth (May TBD) – cover not available

Bonus:

Shine (Shade #3) By Jeri Smith-Ready (May 1) – cover not available

The Golden Lily (Bloodlines #2) by Richelle Mead (June 19)

What sequels are you eager to read?

  6. I love how you put all of the covers up. I hadn’t seen a few of them. And Pandemonium is definitely on my list, too. :)

  7. Gorgeous sequel covers. I can’t wait for a lot of these. I’m going to have to plan to read the previous books, prior to reading these sequels. I want to get lost in the stories again. Thanks for sharing, awesome post!

  8. I’m so excited for Spell Bound and A Million Suns as well!

    Books of Amber

  9. I have no idea why, but I’ve been putting off reading Across the Universe for a while now… I know it’s supposed to be dystopian, but I’m worried it will be a little to sci-fi for my taste.

That being said, your list is fabulous and you clearly have good taste, so I’ll probably just have to take your word for it and take the plunge…. Next spring is looking really good right now!

Feel free to come by and check out my Top Ten List as well!

    • Hi K! Across the Universe does have a sci-fi vibe with the whole spaceship setting. But, I’m not a huge sci-fi fan and I still found the story dark, thrilling and easy to follow.

I agree – Spring is looking awesome!

  10. Definitely looking forward to Spell Bound, Insurgent, Hallowed and Enshadowed! And I’m also anticipating Crossed by Ally Condie, and Sapphire Blue (sequel to Ruby Red) by Kerstin Gier…some awesome books being released this fall and next year, eh? :D

  11. Definitely Pandemonium – that cover looks so good, can’t wait to read that one! I want to read Nevermore (and then Enshadowed) just have to track them down. Great list!

  12. I love that the Golden Lily cover resembles the Bloodlines one.. pretty! :)

I’m sure I’ll have Pandemonium on my list once I read Delirium! LoL!

  13. I can’t wait for AMS either! And Fever :D
I need to read my copy of Bloodlines ASAP!

  14. A new follower! I love the books that you have on your list, some I’ve also got on my Top Ten Tuesday  list. Have a wonderful week ;)
