In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and she was inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie. It is a way to feature the books you purchased, borrowed or received for review each week.
I have been in a bit of a reading slump this month so far. I found some book bargains on Amazon, and received some interesting review books. Hopefully one of these books will snap me out of my slump:

What did you get in your mailbox this week? Happy reading!
WOW!You got a lot this week! I got Witches of East End about a month ago but still haven’t read it yet. It looks good though.
I’ve been in a reading slump this week. I’ve only read 1 book and usually I can at least manage 2. I have to many projects I’m working on and 2 kids…sometimes I wish I could lock myself away!
Witches of East End does look interesting & I’m looking forward to reading it soon. Let’s up both of us will have more time to read soon!
I’m just starting ‘Past Perfect’ — I know I should read a ton of other ones before that one since it’s out in October, but I can’t wait! I loved Leila Sales first book.
I need to read ‘Looking for Alaska’ .. the only John Green I’ve read is ‘Paper Towns’ and I really loved it. I also want to start The Morganville Vampire books, but I’m a little intimidated since there are so many out already.
Ashley,
Definitely pick up Looking for Alaska. In fact, go to the library right now. Like right now. 😀 I’m joking, but you really should read it, it’s fantastic.
I’m so curious about Past Perfect too. The Morganville books are fast reads- you could get through them in no time.
I actually just finished The Adoration of Jenna Fox, so look for it on my blog soon. It was also amazing, and that ending? BEAUTIFUL.
Oh, and by the way, I had a couple questions for you. How do you get all the pictures the same size exactly? Do you use some kind of other software, or is there a WordPress feature I don’t have any idea about? And also, how do you add your own widgets to the sidebar? Like badges and your Recently Read “mini-pages”? Thanks!
Glad you liked Looking for Alaska & The Adoration of Jenna Fox. I’m excited to read those. Will look for your review!
I’m going to email you directly about your WP blog questions. Thanks!
The Handmaid’s Tale is awesome. Like seriously rip your heart out and hand it to you on a platter awesome. I think you’ll hate it but at the same time, you’ll be awed by it. Everything else looks fantastic as well. Enjoy!
Ooh it sounds amazing! I’ve been meaning to read some classic dystopians this year. Thanks for the rec.

Oh man, so many awesome books. I’m quite jealous.
Really looking forward to seeing what you think of Gone, Gone, Gone and Witches of East End.
Happy reading!
Could be the next de la Cruz series for you after Blue Bloods! I’ve heard mixed reviews but Witches looks pretty good.
Lots of great reads here! I loved Looking For Alaska (it’s hard to go wrong with John Green) and stayed up half the night to finish Courtney Summers’ Cracked Up To Be, which I did — all in one sitting. Happy reading!
I’ve been wanting to read Looking for Alaska for awhile. This will be my first Courtney Summers book – glad you enjoyed it!
Lots of great books in your mailbox! The Adoration of Jenna Fox has been on my wish list for quite a while.
It looks good and I found it for a good price- always nice!
Oooh I hope you enjoy reading Ender’s Game. I’m not a fan of sci fi but I read that one based on so many recommendations and I loved it.
That’s good to hear about Ender’s Game. I look forward to reading that one.
