In My Mailbox (45)

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by The Story Siren & inspired by Pop Culture Junkie. It is a way to feature the books you purchased, traded, borrowed or received for review each week.

This week I received:

Bought with gift card:

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi – This sounds so good, and I haven’t read a dystopian in a while.

Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer – But first I need to read Wolfsbane!

Angelfall by Susan Ee – Check out the reviews on Goodreads for this one and you will want to buy it too. And it’s only $0.99 for Kindle and Nook.

Library:

Hold Still by Nina LaCour – After reading The Disenchantments I wanted to check out her first book.

In the Forests of the Night by Kersten Hamilton – The sequel to Tyger Tyger.

Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler – Curious about this one.

E-books:

Netgalley:

Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen – I may try to sneak this Robin Hood retelling in this month’s NetGalley challenge. It looks too good!

Stolen Away by Alyxandra Harvey – It’s been a while since I’ve read a book about faeries, and I love the cover of this one.

What did you get in your mailbox this week?

  1. Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog, though I have to admit. I was surprised. My actual blog is located HERE, but I was considering a move to WordPress so I was messing around with the “import” feature. Sorry you had to see things such a mess! Lol.

Anyways, I recently read Angelfall and enjoyed it. It was definitely worth the 99 cents I paid for it. I hope you enjoy it as well!

    Have a great week!

Hooray for Angelfall! Hope you like this, Lucy 🙂

  7. Hold Still is really good. Also, totally a reminder to me to read my copy of The Disenchantments already.

I want to read Bloodrose, but I really was not that into the second Nightshade book, I don’t even remember the name.

ALOS Why We Broke Up looks like it’ll be a good read.

  8. I’ve heard good things about Under the Never Sky! I’ll have to pick that up at some point too.. totally curious about Why We Broke Up, so picked it up at the bookstore the previous week…

    Happy reading Lucy! 🙂
