I haven’t been around much this week due to this cold that I think I caught at Comic-Con. Ugh! I think I’m finally on the mend though. Getting ready to go with the family to NYC this week. I haven’t been back there for probably 10 years and we’re all really looking forward to it! Last hurrah before school starts.
I’m excited about the books that made their way to me this week!

For Review:
The Panopticon by Jenni Fagan– From Hogarth – This is a gritty thriller with a teenage protagonist and it sounds quite intense. Trainspotting’s Irvine Welsh says “each page sparkles with the ebullient and sinister magic of great storytelling…” Color me intrigued!
E-galleys:
Sick by Tom Leveen – Breakfast Club meets Walking Dead- sold!
Cartwheel by Jennifer Dubois – A mystery about an American foreign exchange student arrested for murder in Buenos Aires.
The F-It List by Julie Halpern – About a girl who helps her friend with cancer fulfill her bucket list.
Smash Into You by Shelly Crane – From InkSlinger PR – New Adult romance with a guy’s POV.
Purchased:
Bunheads by Sophie Flack – Amazon has their new monthly kindle deals out and I snagged a few. Bunheads has been on my wishlist because I find the world of ballet very fascinating. It’s currently $2.99 for kindle.
Everybody Sees the Ants by A.S. King – I’ve liked all the King books I’ve read so far, and have heard good things about this one as well. It’s also currently $2.99 for kindle.
Scorch by Gina Damico – I like paranormal books with a sense of humor so I think I’ll like this series. Now I have the first two books to catch up on! This book is $1.99 for kindle.
Let me know what awesome books you’re reading or listening to in the comments. Have a good week!

I really liked Bunheads. It thought it was a fun story to get lost in, and felt like I learned a good amount about the world of ballet. Hope it’s one you enjoy as well!
