In My Mailbox (32)

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by The Story Siren & inspired by Pop Culture Junkie. It is a way to feature the books you purchased, traded, borrowed or received for review each week.

This week I received:

Bought:

Fateful by Claudia Gray – A historical fiction with werewolves that’s set on the Titanic? I’m eager to read it.

Half-Blood (Covenant #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout – This one has been getting a lot of positive attention from bloggers and I’m curious to check it out.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern – Lots of hype about this book, and it sounds like a must read.

What did you get in your mailbox this week?

Awesome books! I’ve read two out of the three, Fateful and Half-Blood, and they were great reads. I’ve been curious about The Night Circus because of the buzz, too, so I hope it’s as good as it sounds. Happy reading! 😀

It looks like The Book Depository has both covers in stock, so that’s worth a try if you don’t see it in stores 🙂

Ooo I hope you like Half-Blood. I think it’s going to be a great series. I’m looking forward to reading Night Circus too. I’ve heard good things, so let’s hope we agree with the majority. I haven’t heard of Fateful…I’m not sure about that one. You’ll have to let me know how that one is.

Happy reading this week. I’m starting Divergent. Hope I like it, like everyone else. 🙂

    1. Lucy says:

Ooh I think you will love Divergent! Can’t wait for your review.

Your review is one of the reasons why I picked up Half-Blood. It sounds amazing 🙂

I haven’t read any of Claudia Gray’s books, but I’ve seen a few bloggers mention them. And I see that you’re reading The Future of Us–lucky lady! 🙂

    1. Lucy says:

The Future Of Us is so good so far. I think you’ll enjoy it 🙂 Claudia Gray’s Evernight series is enjoyable and I’m interested to try out something else by her.

  15. Night Circus was so intriguing! I really liked it.
    Here’s mine. Check out mine!

  16. Justin says:

I’ve heard so much about Fateful and The Night Circus. I will have to try reading both of them eventually, even though The Night Circus isn’t really YA, it’s been really popular among a lot of people that mostly read YA so there has to be something really good there. 😀

    1. Lucy says:

You’re right that a lot of YA readers are interested in The Night Circus. Seems like it has crossover appeal. I’ve even seen it shelved frequently as YA in Goodreads though the author specifically said it’s not YA.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  17. Jade says:

Fateful and The Future of Us look wonderful…they are on my TBR list and I just got The Night Circus as well. I’m hoping it’s as great as everyone says it is.

I am eager to see what you think of Fateful. I’m on the fence with either thinking it is an absolutely absurd idea or completely brilliant! Thanks for stopping by the blog to commnet on my Mailbox!

  21. Michele says:

Ahh.. I saw this post after your tweet about me getting Fateful too… Haha.. Enjoy! Would love to see what you think of Night Circus 🙂
