Happy February and Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Hope your favorite team wins or maybe you had fun watching the kitten/puppy bowl instead. I’m not so much into football but took the opportunity to try out some new recipes while the game’s on.
Now, on to the books!
Netgalley/Edelweiss new arrivals:

Third Degree by Julie Cross – I like Letters to Nowhere by this author, and this NA book is supposed to appeal to fans of Easy and My Life Next Door. Sounds right up my alley!
Magnolia by Kristi Cook – This looks like a cute feel-good. It’s about teens whose families want them to be together-and they fight their attraction until a hurricane brings them together.
Love and Chaos by Gemma Burgess – This is the sequel to Brooklyn Girls, just in time for Valentine’s Day! This series is about five girls in their twenties sharing a brownstone in NYC.
One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories by B.J. Novak – I saw the book trailer and wanted to read this one. It’s a humorous collection of quirky short stories.
Purchased/Borrowed:

Library:
When I Was the Greatest by Jason Reynolds – This book is about three teens growing up in Brooklyn: Ali, and his neighbors Needles and Noodles. A misunderstanding leads to trouble for the trio. I’ve been eager to read this one- the reviews make it sound so good.
Purchased/Freebies:
Gilded by Christina Farley (Kindle First/Prime freebie) – This is a YA Fantasy set in Korea. I hadn’t heard of it before it looks intriguing.
The Kiss: An Anthology of Love and Other Close Encounters – I picked up this freebie short story collection primarily for Colleen Hoover’s Slammed story, but it does look like a good Valentine’s read overall. (It’s still free: Amazon)
Stolen by Lucy Christopher – I just read The Killing Woods by this author and want to check out the highly acclaimed Stolen soon. It’s on the Feb. kindle deal on Amazon)
What’s new in your mailbox?

You got some interesting reads. Saw Magnolia on a few books. Nice haul of books.

I thought Stolen was amazing – based on the plot I didn’t expect to like it at all and I was very pleasantly surprised.
I’m curious about Magnolia – it sounds like a book I’d enjoy.
Enjoy!
I see some great books here in your mailbox! Have a wonderful reading ahead!
Here is my post.
Magnolia and When I Was the Greatest look interesting to me. I’m also pleading ignorance as to what the puppy bowl was – maybe I was looking at Twitter too late!
Love and Chaos looks like fun…I like books set in NY brownstones. Thanks for sharing, and enjoy. Here’s MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES
Happy reading. Enjoy those books
ENJOY your new books and your week.
