Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4-4.5 stars for Succubus Shadows, book 5 in the Georgina Kincaid series. I enjoyed this story, and am deducting a star for the slow pace during the dream sequences, and I’m not sure how I feel about the ending yet.
This book is not nearly as dark as Succubus Heat, and it feels like the series is winding down. This book was satisfying in that it addresses/answers some questions that have been hovering throughout the series. And it will be interesting to see how Georgina handles the curveball thrown at her in the ending.
Through some dream sequences we get to see more of Georgina’s past, as well as spy on her friends while she is not around. I was happy to see more Roman in this book, and Georgina’s other friends Carter, Erik, Peter, and Cody with a love interest. Carter is more mysterious than usual in this one.
Lots of Seth drama, and it looks like more to come! Can’t wait to read the next installment.
