The Dystopia Challenge

I love dystopian books and could not resist signing up for the dystopian books challenge. Bookish Ardour hosts this challenge, and you can click here to sign up. You can choose your challenge level from 5-200 books.

Some of my favorite books I have read recently have been dystopian including:  The Hunger Games series, Delirium by Lauren Oliver, and Awaken by Katie Kacvinsky.

I am going for the Contagion level (15 books) for this challenge. There are 23 books on the list because I could not narrow it down to 15. This list includes some of the dystopian books that will be published this year, as well as some classics from the genre:

The Giver by Lois Lowry

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood

Unwind by Neal Shusterman

XVI by Julia Karr

Across the Universe by Beth Revis

Grace by Elizabeth Scott

Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Mayberry

Eve by Anna Carey

Birthmarked by Caragh M. O’Brien

Dark Parties by Sara Grant

Wither by Lauren DeStefano

Divergent by Veronica Roth

Blood Red Road by Moira Young

Thanks for sharing this challenge! I also love dsytopian novels – The Hunger Games is one of my favorite series. I’ve never read The Giver, I didn’t even know what it was about until last week. Definitely going on my must-read list!

  2. Dude, I am reading Birth Marked right now and it is AMAZING.
