Cover Reveal: Play by Kylie Scott

One of my favorite New Adult books of 2013 was Lick by Kylie Scott, the first book in the Stage Dive series. Lick kept me reading late into the night, and is an entertaining, witty, and swoon-filled rock star romance. Each book is about a different member of the rock band Stage Dive.

PLAY is the second book in the series, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. PLAY features Mal Ericson, the drummer of Stage Dive, who is a charmer and scene-stealer in the first book. Behold the reveal of PLAY’s hot cover:

Play Kylie Scott

About PLAY:

Kylie Scott returns with the highly anticipated follow-up to international bestseller LICK.

Mal Ericson, drummer for the world famous rock band Stage Dive, needs to clean up his image fast—at least for a little while. Having a good girl on his arm should do the job just fine. Mal doesn’t plan on this temporary fix becoming permanent, but he didn’t count on finding the one right girl.

Anne Rollins never thought she’d ever meet the rock god who plastered her teenage bedroom walls—especially not under these circumstances. Anne has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a wild life-of-the-party drummer couldn’t end well. No matter how hot he is. Or could it?

Pretty steamy cover, huh? I’m looking forward to getting more insight into Mal, and meeting Anne. The premise sounds really cute, and I hope Play is just as addictive as Lick.

Do you like Rock Star Romance and do you think you’ll give this one a try?

Look for Play on April 1st from St. Martin’s Griffin. Pre-order: Amazon * B&N * Goodreads

Kylie Scott has been posting some Play teasers on her FB page, and you can follow along here.
