Pick your path to find the perfect guy in this personalized romance set on the ski slopes! A book version of The Bachelorette! What better way to spend your vacation than on the slopes? In this unique romance, the reader’s in the driver’s seat—creating her own path through the narrative and ending with one of eleven different guys. By making selections at the end of each chapter, the reader decides who will be her perfect match. It could be the athletic ski instructor, one of the adorable twin brothers in the lodge, or the sweet guy with the broken leg by the fireplace. Finding your dream guy couldn’t be easier, and it all takes place against the snowy backdrop of a romantic ski resort. And if not all readers are looking for love, there are other options: to hang with your sister, make new friends, or spend some time alone. But any way you slice it, every reader will have their love on the lifts!

Love on the Lifts is the second book in Jill Santopolo’s Follow your Heart series of seasonal romances. This series follows a Choose your own Adventure format, but in this case the reader is in charge of the heroines’ romantic choices. If you don’t like one potential love interest, you can simply follow the directions to change the outcome. But unlike the original CYOA books, in this book whichever path you choose you’ll get your HEA.

In Love on the Lifts there are thirteen possible endings to your personalized story. You can choose a guy who likes to read Harry Potter, or a snowboarder, to hang out with your sis and watch movies, or even to choose to spend time alone.

This story is set on the ski slopes, where the heroine and her sister are spending the week skiing. The scene is snowy and cold, with hot chocolate and cozy fireplaces, and really sets a wintery mood. The story is that the heroine (You) are getting over a bad breakup and your sister challenges you to kiss someone new.

This book is fun and cute, and I love that there is a variety of options to choose from. I flipped through the book to try out all the different outcomes. Since there are thirteen endings, each story is short and sweet so you’ll want to follow different paths to see all the options. My favorite endings were the non-romantic ones, and here are some of the paths you can choose:

Love on the Lifts would make a great Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day gift!
