It will take a Christmas miracle for two very different souls to find each other in this perfectly festive fairy tale of New York!
Hopeless romantic Eva Jordan loves everything about Christmas. She might be spending the holidays alone this year, but when she's given an opportunity to house-sit a spectacular penthouse on Fifth Avenue, she leaps at the chance. What better place to celebrate than in snow-kissed Manhattan? What she didn't expect was to find the penthouse still occupied by its gorgeous—and mysterious—owner.
Bestselling crime writer Lucas Blade is having the nightmare before Christmas. With a deadline and the anniversary of his wife's death looming, he's isolated himself in his penthouse with only his grief for company. He wants no interruptions, no decorations and he certainly doesn't appreciate being distracted by his beautiful, bubbly new housekeeper. But when the blizzard of the century leaves Eva snowbound in his apartment, Lucas starts to open up to the magic she brings…This Christmas, is Lucas finally ready to trust that happily-ever-afters do exist?
Hello and welcome to my stop on the Miracle on 5th Avenue blog tour! This is such a fun and festive comfort read that’s perfect for this time of year. Read on to find out more about it and make sure to enter a great giveaway. Here’s the book hanging out on my Christmas tree:
Miracle on 5th Avenue is the third book in Sarah Morgan’s From Manhattan with Love series. I haven’t read the first two books yet, and thankfully this book works perfectly as a standalone. The setup is that Eva loves the holidays, though she wishes she had someone special to share them with. She gets the chance to housesit and add some holiday pizazz to a clients’ grandsons place. But, said grandson (acclaimed crime author Lucas Blade) is not out of town all all and he’s not too pleased to find a stranger in his home. Lucas recently lost his wife and is not in a Christmassy mood. Plus, he’s dealing with a bad case of writer’s block.
Eva recently lost her grandmother and has now become very close with Lucas’ grandmother, the matchmaker in this holiday tale. Eva’s bubbly enthusiasm eventually warms Lucas’ grinch-like heart and soon he’s able to write again, with Eva as his muse. Eva prefers romance to Lucas’ dark crime novels and it was fun to see these opposites fall for each other. Eva is sweet and kind, and makes friends with everyone she meets. She’s smart too, and her “Urban Genie” business is starting to take off. She cooks and blogs too. Lucas is a popular author who doesn’t enjoy the limelight. He keeps to himself rather than opening his heart to love again. Since Eva and Lucas are stuck with each other during a blizzard, there’s time for their attraction to grow.
This Manhattan romance is snowy, romantic, festive, and fun. Miracle on 5th Avenue got me feeling all cozy and excited about winter.

I really enjoyed this book! I read it in the car on my way to Christmas. (I had to travel pretty far.) It has some good holiday vibes and I loved that one of the MCs was a horror author in a romance book!
