The Book Thief movie came out a few weeks ago in my neck of the woods and I raced to see it, even though I had yet to read the book! I usually don’t see the movie first, but in this case seeing the movie sparked my interest in finally reading the book. I think I appreciated the book more actually after seeing the movie, and got a kick out of reading all the stories that didn’t make the final film. I later listened to the audiobook, which has excellent narration, but you’ll probably want a copy of the book too for some cool visual extras that you can’t access in the e-book or audiobook.
