My kid is getting back from Europe tomorrow so things will soon be back to normal! I did get through a few books this week but seem to have lost my review writing mojo. Does that ever happen to you?
Books in the Mail:
The Dead Lands by Benjamin Percy – This was a surprise book in the mail! I think Andrew is going to give this one a go. This post-apocalyptic thriller is a reimagining of the Lewis & Clark story, and take a look at that blurb from Stephen King on the cover.
Twist by Karen Akins – I really liked the time-travel romance Loop and can’t wait to read the conclusion of the story with Twist!
French Coast by Anita Hughes – This is about a Vogue editor who travels to France for a dream assignment and gets more than she bargained for.
Review eBooks:
Scarlett Undercover by Jennifer Latham – This book is supposed to appeal to fans of Veronica Mars and features a Muslim American heroine. Sold!
Nice week! Love the creepy cover for the Dead Lands – also gotta love a good King recommendation.. might have to pick that one up myself! Hope you enjoy your new and lovely books!
The only one I’m familiar with is The Lost Boys Symphony. I’ll be watching for your reviews.
Both Twist and French Coast caught my eye. I would love to be somewhere sunny in Europe right now!
