Books & E-Books for review:

Fall of Night by Rachel Caine – HC via Penguin/NAL. Excited!

Binding Agreement by Kyra Davis – ebook via Pocket Star/Edelweiss. Last book in the Just One Night trilogy!

Spirit and Breathless by Brigid Kemmerer – ebooks via Kensington/Netgalley. Elementals series read-along going on now!

Openly Straight by Bill Konigsberg – ebook via Scholastic/Netgalley. This one is about a teenage boy who is gay & has been out since middle school. He thinks the fact that he’s gay is his defining characteristic, so for a change he starts at a new school & keeps his sexuality under wraps.

Faking It by Cora Carmack – ebook via HarperCollins/Edelweiss. Loved Losing It, so I couldn’t resist starting the companion book right away.

Plus One by Brighton Walsh – ebook via Carina Press/Netgalley. Looks like a cute novella about a girl who invites her best guy friend to be her “plus one” at a series of weddings.

Click to Subscribe by L.M. Augustine – ebook via the author for a blog tour. This is a male POV book about a popular web vlogger who decides to meet one of his followers IRL.

Audiobooks for review:

Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire – via Simon & Schuster Audio. Good follow up to Beautiful Disaster, read by Dan Bittner.

The Best of Us by Sarah Pekkanen – via Simon & Schuster Audio. My first book by this author. It’s about four old college friends & their husbands who reconnect on a trip to Jamaica. Read by Cassandra Campbell.

The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer – via Penguin Audio. Was just reading about this book in EW (they gave it an A) so I’m eager to start this one! Read by Jen Tullock.

Be With Me by Maya Banks – via Penguin Audio. An erotic suspense read by Adam Paul.

Let me know what you’re reading in the comments. Have a good week!

nice haul, lucy. my friend just got fall of night but she is super behind on the series. i would take it from her but i haven’t started the series at all. book fail. and i saw the elemental series stuff on ng but again, another series i haven’t started yet. sometimes i wonder who i can read so much but still have so many books i still need to read. nature of the beast i supposed.

and those audiobooks looks great. i have not listened to one in a long time and i really need to get back into it. i have a huge backlog of audible books and more credits to spend.

i hope you have fun with all of these and have an awesome week!

Great haul, Lucy! I have The Interestings coming in the mail soon, so I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it too. And so many blogger friends seem to appreciate Sarah Pekkanen; I have a few of her books but have yet to read them. Enjoy your new books! πŸ™‚

So many books! I see Openly Straight on your list — I like its premise and I’d love to read it, though my request is currently still pending. I hope you enjoy that one (as well as the others)!

I keep saying I’ll listen to more audiobooks but never do! I really will…when I have time. If I drove to lots of places, that would help and then I’d listen to them in the car! But very nice mailbox list! Plus One sounds adorable πŸ™‚

  12. Great haul. Breathless is a super novella, and Spirit was good, but I didn’t like it as much as Spark. Happy reading πŸ™‚
